In the morning, at the Holy Cathedral of Agia Skepi, the Most Holy Bishop of Almopia Mr. Stefanos officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy. The divine word was preached by His Holiness Archbishop. Panteleimon Karalazos, preacher of the I. Metropolis, referring to the Evangelist Luke. After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the established Doxology for the Freedoms of the city was performed by the Rev. Metropolitan of Edessa, Pelli and Almopia Mr. Ioel and with the participation of Theof. Bishop of Almopia and the holy clergy.

The representatives of the local authorities and organizations were present, while the celebratory speech of the day was delivered by the Mayor of Edessa, Mr. I. Tsepkentzis. The Memorial Service to the Hero of the city was performed by the Most Holy Bishop of Almopia, who then attended the parade.
