Peaceful visit of Patriarch of Bulgaria to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem from September 25 to 30translated

At the invitation of the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Mr. Theophilou III and by decision of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, the Patriarch of Bulgaria Mr. Daniel will pay a peaceful visit to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem from September 25 to 30, 2026. The delegation includes the Most Reverend Metropolitans of Varna Mr. Ioannis and Mr. Seraphim of Nevrokopi, the Most Reverend Bishop of Melenikos Mr. Gerasimos – Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod, the Protodeacon Dr. Dejan Korunoski, Dr. Alexander Smochevski – Patriarchal Counselor and Translator and employees of the Patriarchate.
The program includes official meetings and speeches, the performance of holy services in front of Christian shrines and the joint celebration of the Divine Liturgy by the two Primates on September 27.
The visit will continue to the Kingdom of Jordan, where the program includes meetings and pilgrimage visits. A meeting of the Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel with King Abdullah II of Jordan is also scheduled.
