Metropolitan Artis: "The Virgin Mary stands next to the man who repents"translated

In the Parish Church of Agios Panteleimonos of Peranthis Artis, on the afternoon of Thursday August 13, 2026, the Prayer Rule to the Blessed Virgin Mary was chanted, under the patronage of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Artis, Mr. Kallinikos. In his sermon, His Holiness pointed out that "the Virgin Mary stands next to the man who repents", pointing out that repentance is a way for man to return to God's love and mercy. The Most Holy Theotokos, as a loving Mother, supports man, who recognizes his weakness and turns to Christ with a sincere heart.

His Holiness urged the faithful to utilize the last days of the Fifteenth of August with more prayer, repentance and trust in the motherly protection of the Virgin Mary.
