Visit of brothers of the Holy Diaconesti Monastery of Romania to the Diocese of Kastoriatranslated

A group of nuns from the Dormition Monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin Diaconești in Romania made a pilgrimage visit to the Holy Metropolis of Kastoria, as part of their pilgrimage to Greece and specifically to the Holy Metropolis of Nafpaktos. The Nuns, led by Gerontissa Evlogia, have known the Metropolitan of Kastoria since he was a Cleric of the Holy Metropolis of Nafpaktos and Agios Vlasios and a collaborator of the Metropolitan Mr. Ierotheos, with whom the nuns are spiritually connected.

As part of their stay in Kastoria, the nuns first visited the Holy Monastery of Panagia Mavriotissis, where they attended Vespers of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and were guided around the historic monastery site. The sisters were welcomed by Archimandrite Father Panteleimon, who gave them a tour of the Holy Monastery, while at the end a monastic treat was served.
