Reception of Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira in I.M. Xenophon (VIDEO)translated

The Most Reverend Archbishop of Thyatira and Great Britain, Mr. Nikitas, arrived at the Holy Patriarchal and Cross Monastery of Xenophon of Mount Athos, as a representative of His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, Mr. Bartholomew, where he will make a three-day visit.

During his stay, His Eminence will preside over the celebrations for the feast of Panagia Odegetria, the venerable icon of the Mother of God of the Monastery.

This year's celebrations are of particular importance, as they coincide with the 50th anniversary of the abbotship of Elder Alexios, Abbot of the Holy Monastery.
