Feast of Saint Paisios Agioreitos in Makrakomitranslated

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, our Holy Church honors the memory of Saint Paisios the Saint, a day on which the Holy Metropolitan Chapel of Saint Paisios, in Makrakomi (location "Koutres") celebrates. The religious events will be held at the Holy Metropolitan Chapel of St. Paisios according to the following schedule:

Friday, July 10, 2026

21:00 pm: Solemn Orthros and pre-holiday monastic Holy Vigil.

Panosiol will come out ahead. Chief Father Germanos Giantsidis, Professor of the Holy Dormition Monastery of the Holy Mother of God Agathonos, who will preach the Divine Word. Fathers of the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotido will sing.

Saturday, July 11, 2026

11:00 am: Holy Eucharist under the fathers of Makrakomi and Sperchiados.

Panosiol will come out ahead. Chief Fr. Kyrillos Paris, Director of the Holy Episcopate of the Martyr City of Sperchiados, who will preach the Divine Word.

19:00 pm: Grand Solemn Vespers with pastries.

أتمنى أقدر أروح للعشية الكبيرة يوم السبت مع الأرتوكلاسيا، خاصة إن الأب ماکسيموس هو اللي بيترأس ويبشر. البرنامج كامل ومنظم، بارك الله فيهم.

Le programme est bien chargé, surtout avec l’agrypnie du vendredi soir et l’euchélaion du samedi matin. J’espère que le père Maximos prêchera quelque chose de simple et concret comme le père Paisios aimait le faire. Si quelqu’un y va samedi soir, qu’il allume un cierge pour nous à Koutres.

მადლობა ამ დეტალური პროგრამისთვის. განსაკუთრებით მომეწონა, რომ შაბათს საღამოს მამა მაქსიმოსი იქნება და ქადაგებასაც ის წაიკითხავს – მისი სიტყვები ყოველთვის მარტივი და გულამდე მისულია, როგორც წმინდა პაისიოსს უყვარდა. თუ ვინმე წავა, ერთი სანთელი ჩემთვისაც აანთოს კუტრებში.

Oui, le programme est dense, surtout après l’agrypnie du vendredi. J’espère aussi que le père Maximos gardera son homélie bien terre à terre, comme le saint Paisios qui parlait souvent du jardinage et des petites choses du quotidien. Si j’arrive samedi soir, je penserai à allumer ce cierge pour vous à Koutres.
