Diocese of Edessa: Ordination of an elder at the feast of Agia Kyriaki in Krya Vrysi, Pellatranslated

The annual commemoration of Saint Kyriaki the Great Martyr was celebrated with splendor and a large participation of the faithful, in the eponymous holy church of Agia Kyriaki Kryas Vrysis (Pella). On the eve of the feast, Monday July 6, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., the reception of the holy relic of Agios Nektarios of Pentapolis took place and then the Solemn Vespers was held, at the end of which the customary litany took place. His Holiness was represented by Panosiol. Archimandrite Maximos Hatzis, Chancellor of the I. Metropolis, who preached on time.

On the day of the feast, Tuesday July 7, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Edessa, Pelli and Almopia, Mr. Ioel officiated in the celebratory church and performed the ordination of deacon Kyrillos Tsiranidis as a Presbyter. The Most Reverend Bishop of Almopia Mr. Stefanos, the Protosygellos of the I. Metropolis and numerous clergy from various areas of the Metropolis and outside of it concelebrated with His Eminence.
