Didymoteichos Damascenes in Faneromeni Cholargoutranslated
In the context of the anniversary events, of a religious and cultural nature, as this year we celebrate the completion of 100 years since the construction of the (old) Church of Panagia Faneromenis Cholargos, on Sunday October 11, 2026, in the Cathedral Holy Church of Panagia Faneromeni Cholargos, a High Priestly Divine Liturgy will be celebrated under the Most Reverend Metropolitan Didymoteichos, Orestiados and Soufliou Mr. Damaskinos. His Eminence draws his origin from Holargos. He was invited to officiate in our Church, remembering and reporting historical facts from the life of the parish.
It would be a special honor and it would give us great pleasure to have you participate and pray together on this day!
On Sunday, October 11 evening, at 8:30 p.m., a Holy Vigil will be held in memory of Saint Simeon the New Theologian (+October 12).
