The Holy Metropolis of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos announces the organization of this year's mosaic seminar at the "Agios Fotios" Spiritual Center, on the initiative of the Venerable Metropolitan Mr. Georgios and in collaboration with the Center for Letters and Arts of Dion. Registration has already begun, enabling those interested to experience the art of mosaic up close, familiarize themselves with its materials and techniques, and develop their creative skills through hands-on practice.

The teaching of the seminar will be undertaken by the renowned mosaic painter Thomas Safetis, who will guide the participants in the basic stages of creating a mosaic work, transferring his knowledge and experience to an art with a long history and a special place in the Greek and church tradition.

The classes will take place every Monday, from 18:30 to 21:00, at the "Agios Fotios" Spiritual Center, with the start scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026.

Through the experiential approach and personal creation, participants will have the opportunity to discover the possibilities of the mosaic...
