On Sunday, October 11, 2026, our Church celebrated the holy memory of the Holy Apostle Philip the Deacon and in our Metropolis the homonymous Chapel of the Parish of Agios Eleftherios, at the Central (French) Station of the O.S.E. in Alexandroupolis, since Saint Philip is the patron saint of railways.

On the afternoon of Saturday, October 10, the priests of the parish of Agios Eleftherios, where the chapel of Agios Philippos belongs, held the celebratory vespers with baking under the supervision of the employees of the O.S.E. who love and care for the little church, and the presence of several people who come every year on such a day to honor the memory of the Saint.

On the day of the holiday, Sunday, October 11, the memory of Saint Philip the Apostle was honored in all the Churches of our Metropolis, during the Sunday Divine Liturgy.
