Great participation in the opening of the School of Parents of the Corinth Diocesetranslated

With the presence of a large audience, the first meeting of the School of Parents for the year 2026-2027 was held on Saturday afternoon, October 10, 2026, in the Krokidion Hall of the Holy Metropolis of Corinth. This year's round of meetings is entitled "House of Healing" and has as its central axis illness, health and family.

The invited speaker was the Nun Paraclete, Gerontissa of the Skete of Saint Mary Magdalene Letis Lagada, person-centered and experiential psychotherapist, who developed the topic: "Pain and the question "why" to God".

Through biblical examples and references to everyday life, Gerontissa approached with directness and sensitivity the experience of pain and the questions it raises in the human soul. Her inspiring speech piqued the interest of those present and offered reasons for essential reflection on our attitude towards both our personal pain and the trials of our fellow human beings.

A fruitful dialogue followed, during which the speaker answered questions from the audience.
