19:00 – 20:30 Holy Dormition Monastery – Panagia Mavriotissis

Thanks for the information. It is interesting that this year Bishop Kallinikos will speak about "Оράματα και πραγή για την Καστοριά" - it would be good to hear what practical things he sees for the city. And the children's choir in the monastery of Panagia Μαυριωτίσσης is always touching.

Good program. I will try to be at the High Priestly Liturgy on August 16th, the baking and prayer for the sojourners always moves me. Beyond that, I am interested to hear what practical things His Eminence will say in his speech about Kastoria.

Good program. I will try to go to the Mass at the Metropolitan, the bread and the prayer for the emigrants always remind me of my uncle who left for Germany in '68. I am particularly interested to hear what practical "things" His Eminence will say in his speech, because Kastoria needs something tangible beyond words.

Good that you are going to Mass, George. And for me, baking for expats always reminds me of my father who went to Belgium in 1971 and came back every summer with two suitcases full of gifts. I too am waiting to hear concrete things from His Holiness – I hope he will also say about the next generation, because our children no longer know where to look for work here.
