Donation of ecclesiastical woodcarvings on behalf of I.M. Xenophontos to the Model Ecclesiastical School of Lamiatranslated

The Model Ecclesiastical School of Lamia "Osios Bessarion the Agathonite" is very happy to announce the donation to our School of woodcarving "equipment" for our chapel, dedicated to Saint Stylianos the Paphlagona, on behalf of the Holy Monastery of Xenophon of Mount Athos. As is known from previous related announcements, the School has been making diligent efforts for years, among other things, to upgrade its facilities.

Certainly, an integral part of its function, a part of its soul, so to speak, is its chapel, the church of Agios Stylianos Paplagonos, patron saint of children, where services are held regularly and, when required, some of the religious courses of the curriculum are held. For more than half a century, inside this chapel of Agios Stylianos, the seminarians, the students of our School, work, sing, pray all together on it. Inside this chapel, therefore, the ties between students and the school acquire a divine perspective, which makes them indestructible.
