Visit of the Head of GES to the Archbishop of Cretetranslated

The Most Reverend Archbishop of Crete Mr. Eugene was visited on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 by the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, at the offices of the Holy Archdiocese of Crete. During the meeting, they had the opportunity to discuss issues of common interest, as well as the important role and contribution of the Armed Forces to society.

The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, while the Archbishop of Crete and the Head of the GES exchanged wishes focused on health and strength.

The visit of Mr. Kostides ended with the exchange of souvenirs.
