The beneficiaries of the Day Center of "Karelleio," the Integrated Service Unit for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders of the Philanthropic Organization "APOSTOLE" of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, participated in a specially designed program at the Cultural Institute of Olimou Piraeus, which is directed at individuals with memory difficulties and their caregivers.

Through archival documents and everyday objects from the past, the participants had the opportunity to observe, exchange ideas and experiences, and communicate in a friendly and supportive environment. The activity focused on creating a shared experience, emphasizing free expression and interaction without the need for specific recollections.

The program concluded with a creative synthesis workshop, during which the beneficiaries collaborated and expressed themselves creatively.

The visit is part of the social integration, creative employment, and psychological empowerment initiatives of "Karelleio," aimed at enhancing communication and active participation of the beneficiaries.
