Solemn High Priestly Vespers for the Elevation of the Holy Cross in Agairia, Parostranslated

On the afternoon of Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the Holy Parish Church of Agios Georgios, Agairia, Paros, the solemn High Priestly Vespers on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy and Living Cross, officiated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Paronaxia, Mr. Kallinikos, was celebrated with particular splendor and enthusiasm.

His Eminence was flanked by clerics of the Holy Metropolis, while the Mayor of Paros, Mr. Kostas Bizas, Deputy Mayors, the Secretary General of the Municipality of Paros, the President of the Agairia Community, the head of the majority minority, Mr. Markos Kovaios, Presidents of Associations and institutions of the island, as well as a large number of believers were present.

The divine word was preached by the Preacher of the Holy Metropolis, Archimandrite Father Arsenios Melissianos.

Before the Dismissal, the Reverend Mr. Kallinikos addressed fatherly wishes to the congregation, wishing that the grace and blessing of the Holy and Living Cross would strengthen, enlighten and protect everyone, giving health, strength and every blessing in their lives.
