Visit of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice to the Metropolitan of Piraeustranslated

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice Mr. Pelops Laskos visited today, Friday November 6, 2026, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Piraeus Mr. Seraphim at the offices of the Holy Metropolis of Piraeus at "MARINAKION MELATHRON". During the visit, Mr. General informed His Eminence about the imminent opening of the new Piraeus Courthouse, which, God willing, is expected to take place from the new year, marking the completion of a long-standing request of the city of Piraeus and the legal world of the wider region.

Mr. Laskos, especially thanked for the important offer of the Metropolis and His Eminence, who donated the Holy Icons that will decorate the audience rooms of the new Court House.

His Eminence expressed his great joy and satisfaction for the imminent operation of the new Courthouse, underlining that it is a timeless request of the people of Piraeus, which is now becoming a reality.
