Multi-priestly memorial service of the late Chrysostomos Stamoulis in Ano Toumbatranslated

On Saturday August 8, the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Mr. Filotheos, officiated at the Parish Church of Saint Varvara Ano Toumba. Before the dismissal of the High Priest's Divine Liturgy, the annual memorial service of the late Chrysostomos Stamoulis, former Dean and professor of the Theological School of A.P.Th. and Archon of M.t.X.E.

During the High Priestly Memorial, the Metropolitans of Alexandroupolis, Mr. Anthimos, Mr. David of Greveno and the Bishop of Amoriou, Mr. Nikiforos, took part, while among the congregation, the Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Nikolaos Papaioannou, former Rector of the University of Athens, professors of the Theological School of A.P.Th. and from other Departments, students of the deceased and his relatives.

After the end of the Memorial, Metropolitan Philotheos expressed his thanks for the presence of the Hierarchs as well as the crowd that came to pray for the repose of the sleeping man.
