Cooperation of the Diocese of Ilia with the Ministry of Immigration and Asylumtranslated

With a feeling of spiritual joy and gratitude, the Holy Diocese of Ilia welcomed the Minister of Immigration and Asylum, Mr. Athanasios Pleuris, to its headquarters in Pyrgos. In particular, the speedy resolution of the legal and lease status of the property granted by the Holy Metropolis for the operation of the accommodation structure for vulnerable refugees and immigrants in Pyrgos was highlighted. His Eminence emphasized that this structure, beyond its humanitarian character, "gave life to the region" by offering jobs to more than 50 of our fellow citizens.
