Beginning of courses at the School of Apprenticeship for Clerical Candidates of Vellatranslated

With a high-priestly Divine Liturgy in the ancient Catholic Church of the Holy Monastery of Vella, the beginning of the courses at the School of Apprenticeship for Clerical Candidates of Vella took place today. The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ioannina, Mr. Maximos, who at the end performed the customary Consecration, as well as the procession of the newly admitted students.

In the third year of the School's operation, the number of first-year students is 45. Of these, 19 will attend the courses for life and will live in the School's premises.

His Eminence, addressing the candidate clergy with a fatherly speech, referred to the vision and experience of the priesthood, calling on them to utilize in the best possible way what they will be taught, but also what they will experience during their studies at the School.
