Το Φόρουμ Μουσικών της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αμερικής συμπληρώνει 50 χρόνια διακονίας

Το δυναμικό του παρόν έδωσε, από την πρώτη ημέρα της Κληρικολαϊκής Συνέλευσης του 2026 στο Κλίβελαντ, το Φόρουμ Μουσικών της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αμερικής αναδεικνύοντας μ’ αυτόν τον τρόπο, τον καθοριστικό ρόλο της εκκλησιαστικής μουσικής στη ζωή της Ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας στην Αμερική. Με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση πενήντα χρόνων από την ίδρυσή του, το Φόρουμ συμμετείχε ενεργά στις εργασίες καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της εβδομάδας, τιμώντας έτσι τη σημαντική παρακαταθήκη του και παρουσιάζοντας το όραμά του για το μέλλον της διακονίας της εκκλησιαστικής μουσικής. Κορυφαία στιγμή των εκδηλώσεων αποτέλεσε το επετειακό γεύμα για τα 50 χρόνια του Φόρουμ, στο οποίο παρέστησαν ο Σεβασμιώτατος Αρχιεπίσκοπος Αμερικής κ. Ελπιδοφόρος, οι Πατριαρχικοί Εκπρόσωποι, ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Αυστρίας κ. Αρσένιος, ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Θεσσαλονίκης κ. Φιλόθεος και ο Μέγας Αρχιμανδρίτης κ. Ιάκωβος, καθώς και μέλη της Αγίας Επαρχιακής Συνόδου, κληρικοί, ιεροψάλτες και φίλοι του Φόρουμ από ολόκληρη τη χώρα.

Κατά τη διάρκεια του γεύματος, προβλήθηκε ένα βιντεοσκοπημένο μήνυμα της Α.Θ. Παναγιότητος του Οικουμενικού Πατριάρχη κ. κ. Βαρθολομαίου, ο οποίος συνεχάρη το Φόρουμ για τη συμπλήρωση των πενήντα…

Felicitări pentru cei 50 de ani! Mi-a atras atenția că la masă au fost și Mitropolitul de Tesalonic și cel de Austria – interesant să vezi cum se leagă parohiile americane cu alte eparhii. Oare ce a spus exact Patriarhul în mesajul video?

Felicitări pentru cei 50 de ani! Și mie mi s-a părut interesant că au venit Mitropolitul de Tesalonic și cel de Austria, arată cât de strânsă e legătura cu Patriarhia. Curios ce a spus exact Patriarhul Bartolomeu în mesajul video, oare a vorbit despre viitorul muzicii bisericești?

Congrats on the 50 years. Interesting that Metropolitans from Thessaloniki and Austria came all the way for the dinner. Wish we had a transcript or at least a summary of what Patriarch Bartholomew actually said in that video.

Da, e frumos să vezi legătura asta între eparhiile din America și cele din Tesalonic sau Austria, mai ales la un eveniment atât de important pentru muzica bisericească. Mesajul Patriarhului a fost scurt și cald, i-a felicitat pentru cei 50 de ani și i-a îndemnat să păstreze tradiția bizantină vie în parohiile americane. Tu ai fost vreodată la vreun astfel de forum?

Congrats on the 50 years is right. I noticed the same thing about Metropolitans Philotheos and Arsenios showing up in Cleveland — must have been a pretty full table. The Patriarch’s video was nice, but yeah, a short transcript or even a couple quotes would’ve been helpful for those of us who couldn’t make it.

Yeah, those two Metropolitans turning up in Cleveland does stand out. The video was a nice touch but I agree, even a couple of translated lines from the Patriarch would’ve made it land better for everyone. Anyone know if they’re planning to share the full message later?

Yeah, the two Metropolitans showing up really stood out. I was there for the lunch and the video felt a bit short; sharing the whole Patriarchal message later would help a lot of us who don’t catch every Greek phrase. Does anyone know if the Forum usually posts those full recordings on their site?

Yeah, having Arsenios and Philotheos there in Cleveland really underscored how seriously the Forum’s work is taken across the jurisdictions. I caught most of the Patriarch’s Greek but still wish they’d drop the full English version soon. Does anybody know if the choir recordings from the anniversary events will be posted?

Yeah, that table must’ve been packed with all those hierarchs. The Patriarch’s video was a nice touch, but I agree—a couple of quotes from it would’ve helped the rest of us follow along. Did you catch any of the forum’s workshops during the week?
