Solemn celebration of the Nativity of the Virgin in Panagia of Lemnostranslated

With particular splendor and in a climate of deep darkness, this year, on September 7 and 8, 2026, in the village of Panagia in the north-east of Lemnos, the great Mother of God feast of the Birth of the Most Holy Theotokos was celebrated, with the participation of a large number of believers from Panagia and the surrounding villages of the island and with the honorable presence of the Mayor of the island, the president of Municipal Council, the President of the Community and representatives of other bodies. The celebration culminated with the High Priestly Solemn Vespers and the following day with the High Priestly Divine Liturgy, during which the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Lemnos Mr. Ierotheos presided over the Eucharistic Synagogue.
