Seminary of Bukoba: Transformations from Charismatic Groups – Schism and Synthesistranslated

Charismatic Seminary, given the conditions were met, was convened by the Very Reverend Bishop of Bukoba, Western Tanzania and Rwanda, Chrysostomos, in Mwanza from September 21 to 24, 2026. Eight charismatic leaders and five priests attended the Diocese of Mwanza with a general theme "CHARISMS AND CHARISMATICS." The main speaker was Bishop Theophilos Chrysostomos, experienced in controversial topics. Based on Holy Scripture, he interpreted Orthodox all that the Lord taught in the Gospels and Sts. Paul and John in their Epistles. A dialogue followed, answers to questions, and at the end conclusions were drawn. One of the participants presented the history and teaching of the schismatic group of Nabii Ilia.

At the end of the Seminary, the charismatic participants signed a document wherein they accept all that is taught by the Orthodox Church and the decisions of Ecumenical and Local Synods. They reject any heretical doctrine, specifically the group called "Orthodox Charismatic Church."
