The Baths of Edipsos were flooded by the grace of Saint Demetrius Myroblytostranslated

On the evening of Monday, October 26, 2026, the Metheortos Great Vespers of Agios Demetrius of Myroblytos and of Agios Nestors, a fellow athlete of the Saint, was celebrated with ecclesiastical rejoicing after the Blessings of the Breads and the Holy Prayer in honor of Agios Demetrios of Myroblytos in the Holy Church of Agios Demetrios of Loutra Edipsos. The Holy Services were performed by Protopresbyter Fr. Nikolaos Argyrios, Chaplain of the Holy Church, who at the end of the Vespers read a wish for the health of the faithful and crossed those present with the myrrh of Saint Demetrius, for blessing and strengthening.

Protopresbyter Fr. Christos Ngelas ministered at the sacred lectern, assisted by Mr. Vasilios Diamantis, rendering melodically the hymns of the Saint.

During his sermon, Father Nikolaos passionately referred to the healing miracles of Saint Demetrius, emphasizing the grace and beneficial power of his myrrh. At the same time, he read two shocking miracles from the book published by the Holy Pilgrimage of Saint Demetrius of Thessaloniki, causing emotion and spiritual benefit to the faithful.
