Piraeus Seraphim: The "PARISH in action..." program offers essential spiritual support to peopletranslated

With the celebration of the Consecration by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Piraeus, Mr. Seraphim, the official launch of the "PARISH in action...2026" program took place on the afternoon of Sunday, September 27, at the Spiritual Center of the Holy Church of Evangelistria, Piraeus. The program, organized for the 15th consecutive year, includes a series of daily events and activities, which will be completed on December 31.

This was followed by an evening organized with the cooperation of the Association of Piraeus Scientists (S.E.P.), which is also participating in the program this year, making a series of presentations dedicated to Climate Change.

The first speech was given immediately after the inauguration and the speaker was Professor Mr. Christos Zerefos, National Representative for Climate Change, President of the International Board of Academies, Supervisor of the Research Center for Atmospheric Physics and Climatology of the Academy of Athens, who developed the topic "The climate crisis through time: From Plato's Academy until the future".
