Call from the Diocese of Buenos Aires and South and Central America to pray for the earthquake victims of Colombiatranslated

The Holy Diocese of Buenos Aires and South and Central America of the Patriarchate of Serbia is calling on the faithful to pray for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Colombia. According to media reports, 265 people have so far lost their lives from the strong earthquake, while almost 3,500 are injured.

The Serbian Orthodox Province invites the faithful to join their prayers for all those who are being tested, for the people who are still waiting for their rescue, for the children who are going through an extremely traumatic period, for the rescuers, the families of the victims and the injured.

“Once again let us offer our prayers to Almighty God, this time for our brothers and sisters in Colombia, who, as you all know, were tested by the earthquake. Let us pray for those who are waiting for salvation, for the children going through an extremely traumatic period, for the rescuers, for the suffering families, for the earthquake victims and for all those affected.
