Consecration for the start of the school year in Kyriaki, Boeotiatranslated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thebes, Mr. George, performed the Consecration Service for the start of the new school year at the High School with High School Sunday Classes. The ceremony was attended by all the students of the school, as well as all the teachers.

The consecration was also honored with their presence by the local authorities, the Director of Secondary Education of Boeotia, representatives of the educational community, as well as parents and guardians of the students.

His Eminence, after the consecration, addressed fatherly words to the students and teachers, wishing the new school year to be blessed, creative and fruitful, with health, strength and progress. In particular, he urged the young people to diligently and responsibly utilize the resources that education offers them, always having as guides love, respect and solidarity towards fellow human beings.

Finally, His Eminence wished all the students a good and blessed school year, and to the teachers strength and light in the important work they carry out.
