Alexis Tsipras in Simonopetra (PHOTO)translated

The former Prime Minister and President of the Greek Left Alliance, Alexis Tsipras, was found in the Athonian State and specifically in the Holy Monastery of Simonos Petra. In his post on social media accompanied by photos, the president of ELAS notes that a visit to Mount Athos is always an opportunity that should not be missed.

In detail in his post he states:

""You chant in Simonopetra and it is heard in Hades..."

A visit to Mount Athos is always an opportunity not to be missed.

A journey through history, to cultural treasures that have been preserved for centuries, but also to the deepest meaning of human existence."

This was the second visit of Alexis Tsipras to Mount Athos as it was preceded by another one in 2014 when he was then President of SYRIZA and leader of the Official Opposition.
