With the presence and blessing of the Most Reverend Metropolitan Dimitrias and Almyros, Mr. Ignatios, on Sunday 11 October 2026, in the event hall "Refuge" of the Holy Metropolitan Church of Agios Dimitrios of Almyros, the Consecration and the official start of the meetings of the Parents' School of the Almyros Archpriest District took place. The re-opening of the School of Parents, after several years, is an important pastoral care initiative of the local Church, with the aim of effectively supporting the family and strengthening the parental role in modern society. At a time when parents are called to face complex challenges in raising and educating their children, the Church seeks to offer a space of meaningful dialogue, reflection, information, communication and spiritual empowerment.
