With feelings of human sorrow and the hope of the coming Resurrection, the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes announces the eviction to the Lord of the Panosiologiat Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne Athenagoras Paradisis, signed in the early morning hours of June 10, AD.

Makaristos was born in 1950 in Rhodes. He became a Monk in the Holy Monastery of Panormitou, Symi in 1974. He received the office of Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne in the year 2005 and left his wonderful work indelible in various Parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes, but primarily in the Holy Church of Saint Catherine of the old Hospital of Rhodes.
