The Scientific Conference for the 200th anniversary of the Exodus of Messolonghi has endedtranslated

With the celebration of a multi-priestly Divine Liturgy in the historic Holy Metropolitan Church of Agios Spyridon, in the Holy City of Messolonghi, the three-day Scientific Conference on the theme: "Messolongi 1826 - 2026: Place of Sacrifice and Ecumenical Symbol of Freedom", which was organized by Special Synodal Committee on Cultural Identity of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, in collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania, in the context of the anniversary events for the completion of 200 years since the heroic Exodus of the Free Besieged. At the Mass of Orthros, the Metropolitan of Sisanio and Siatistis, Mr. Athanasios, presided, while at the multi-priestly Divine Liturgy, the Metropolitan of Dimitrias and Almyros, Mr. Ignatios, presided and the Metropolitans of Sisaniou and Siatistis, Mr. Athanasios, and of Aetolia and Akarnania, Mr. Damascinos, officiated.
