"Children paint for children": The love campaign of the Church of Bulgaria started in Sofiatranslated

With the blessing of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Patriarchate, the Cultural and Educational Department launched this year the charity campaign "Children draw for children". The official opening that took place on Monday, October 5, 2026, in a central hotel in Sofia, was attended by the Patriarch of Bulgaria, Mr. Daniel, the Most Reverend Metropolitans Lovets Mr. Gabriel and Vidinou Mr. Pachomios, as well as the President of the National Assembly Michaela Dotsova, the Head of the Regional Education Department of the Sofia Region Dr. Atanas Paskaleff, the Director of the Culture Directorate of Sofia Municipality Doncho Christef and others.

The funds that will be collected from the initiative are intended to support sick children who are hospitalized in the pediatric departments of the hospitals in Vidinio, Vratsa and Lovets.
