"Crystal Therapy: Myth, Occultism and Spiritual Delusion - Another expression of New Age spirituality", is the topic on which the Reverend Metropolitan of Piraeus, Mr. Seraphim, informs in the following video, who mentions that Crystal Therapy has been promoted in recent years as an alternative method of healing and spiritual development, with the claim that crystals emit special "energies" or "vibrations" that can beneficially affect the body, soul and mind. However, as His Eminence emphasizes, "the Orthodox Church treats this practice not only as scientifically unsubstantiated, but also as spiritually dangerous, because it is based on concepts alien to the Christian revelation."

J’ai bien écouté le Métropolite Séraphin, surtout quand il parle des « énergies » et des chakras qui viennent tout droit de l’occultisme. Chez nous on a déjà vu des paroissiennes rapporter des cristaux « pour le bien-être », je leur ai dit de les laisser à la maison et de se contenter de l’eau bénite et des prières. C’est clair que tout ça n’a rien à voir avec la foi orthodoxe.
