The feast of Saints Anargyri in the Corinth Metropolistranslated

At the celebratory Holy Church of Agioi Anargyro of the Corinth Hospital, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth, Mr. Pavlos, officiated Vespers on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with the participation of patients, attendants, members of the medical, nursing and administrative staff, as well as volunteers of the Hospital.

In His sermon, His Holiness referred to the ordeal of illness as an opportunity for self-knowledge and seeking God. He underlined the ministry of the Church in hospitals and the valuable contribution of doctors and nurses, stressing that the example of the Saints offers consolation, strength and hope in the face of the loneliness of illness.

The following day, Sunday November 1, 2026, His Holiness celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the celebratory Holy Pilgrimage of Saints Anargyro of Ancient Corinth.

During His sermon, He referred to the Apostle Paul's hymn of love, pointing out that the celebrated Saints Anargyri put love into action, ministering to the sick and suffering people.

The Holy Liturgy was attended by the Mayor of Corinth, Mr. Nikolaos Stavrelis, Deputy Mayors and a large number of believers.
