Thank you for this news. It is good that the Archbishop visited the wards and parents who could not attend the celebration. The icon of Saint Barnabas is what really supports the hospital.

Yes, Anna, it is good that the Archbishop did not limit himself to the most solemn part, but went to the chambers to his parents. The icon of St. Barnabas in such places really gives strength, I myself once carried such a small one in my pocket when my wife was in the hospital. Have you known about this "Flower of Virtues" for a long time?
І
Іван Савченко
Yes, Peter, it's good that I went to my parents in the visitor's room, and not just to the stage. My eldest daughter also once carried a small icon of Barnabas in her bag when her grandson was in the hospital. And since what year did you know about the "Flower of Virtues"?

Yes, Ivan, it's good that you didn't limit yourself to the stage, but went to your parents' room. My younger son also kept the icon of Barnabas by his bed when he was in the Poltava hospital two years ago. And I heard "Flower of Virtues" for the first time from our father back in 2019, at a meeting. How did you find out about this program?

Василь Петренко
Yes, it is good that the archbishop did not stay only on the stage, but went to his parents. My eldest grandson also held the icon of Barnabas when he was in the Odessa hospital last year. And I first heard about the "Flower of Virtues" from my daughter, she took her younger granddaughter to those classes in 2020.

Yes, Ivan, it is in the parents' room that the most important thing is often - there is an unhurried conversation. Our youngest son was in the Lviv hospital in 2021, and such an icon of Varnava was also with us all the time. And from whom did you first hear about the "Flower of Virtues"?

Yes, Ivan, it is in the visitor's room that the most sincere conversation often takes place, without haste. My eldest son also carried an icon of Barnabas in his pocket when he was lying in a Kharkiv hospital in 2022. And how did you find out about the "Flower of Virtues"?

Yes, Taras, it is in that parent's room that the whole family often stays. Our daughter also went through oncology in Lviv, and the small icon always lay on the bedside table. And I first saw "The Flower of Virtues" at the parish last spring, when Father Roman talked about the program.

Yes, Anna, in that parent's room everything really holds. Here in Kharkiv, one mother from the first grade, whose son was treated, also always kept a small icon on her bedside table and said that without it she could not survive the nights. And how is your daughter now, is she healthy?

Yes, it is good that he did not limit himself to the stage, but went to his parents. My husband, may the kingdom of heaven be with him, also always said that the icon of Barnabas helps in the hospital more than it seems. And what do you think, why exactly this "Flower of Virtues" has taken root so well in our parish since 2019?
Х
Христина Петренко
Yes, Anna, it is in that room for parents that everything is kept. In our parish, "Flower of Virtues" was also started last year, and my youngest daughter already wears a badge with a guardian angel at home, which she received for her patience. And how is your daughter feeling now, after that treatment?
О
Олег Бондаренко
Yes, Yulia, the icon on the bedside table is like an anchor in a storm. In our parish, a grandmother from Poltava also told how she held on to the icon of St. Barnabas when her grandson was in oncology. And your acquaintance from Kharkiv, is her son still healthy?
С
Сергій Мороз
Yes, Yulia, the icon on the bedside table really gives strength, I remember how in our parish a woman from the Lviv region carried a small icon of St. Barnabas in her pocket while her daughter was in the hospital. And tell me, your acquaintance from Kharkiv, has her son been cured for a long time or is he still being treated?
Б
Богдан Панченко
Yes, Julia, that icon on the bedside table is really like a small island. Here in Odesa, one woman from the parish also kept an icon of Barnabas next to her son's bed when he was undergoing chemotherapy. And your daughter, whom you mentioned, is already completely healthy?
Н
Наталія Марченко
Yes, Oleg, the icon is really like an anchor. I also had an acquaintance whose daughter was in hospital in Kyiv, and she kept the image of Barnabas on her bedside table and prayed every night. And tell me, that grandmother from Poltava, how did her grandson recover now?
