Helper at the Volos Juvenile Education Foundation, Dimitrias Diocesetranslated

Systematically and subtly, the Holy Diocese of Dimitrias and Almyros supports the important work carried out by the Volos Juvenile Education Foundation, expressing in practice the constant and personal interest of Rev. Metropolitan Dimitriados Mr. Ignatiou for the children and their needs. In this context, the Local Church supported during the two previous years the operation of the Foundation's Photography Workshop, an action that was embraced with particular interest by the children and contributed to the cultivation of their creativity and imagination, to the acquisition of new knowledge and skills, as well as to the strengthening of their self-confidence, cooperation and responsibility.

For this support, a letter of thanks to His Eminence was sent, on September 9, 2026, by the Head of the Juvenile Education Department, Ms. Efthymia Moutou, which refers to Mr. Ignatiou's "timeless and practical support" to the Foundation, pointing out that it "conveys to the children an important message of interest, acceptance and practical care from the Church and the local community".
