The work of the 6th International Theological Conference of the Panhellenic Union of Theologists under the auspices of the Permanent Holy Synod began yesterday in the Hall of the Society of Friends of the People, in Athens. Title of the Conference: "The teaching of the Orthodox Course of Religious Studies with the New Programs and Books". The President of the Theology Department of EKPA, Professor Ioannis Panagiotopoulos, President addressed a warm greeting to the members of the Panhellenic Union of Theologists, the oldest union.

Mr. Panagiotopoulos emphasized that "the presence of all of you, as well as selected speakers, demonstrates that the issue of Orthodox religious education goes beyond our national borders and is a common concern of the entire Orthodoxy.
