Inaugural meeting of the Women's Affairs Committee of the Diocese of Thessalonikitranslated

With the presence of the members of the Parish Committees for Women's Affairs of the parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki, the first meeting for the new church year 2026-2027 took place, marking the beginning of a new period of cooperation, training and ministry. The meeting took place on Saturday, October 3, at 6:30 in the afternoon, in a place kindly made available by the parish of the Holy Church of Agios Therapontos Kato Toumpa, which hosted the start of the Commission's work.

The ladies were welcomed, as a hospitable host, by His Eminence Archimandrite Father Iakovos Athanasios, Primate of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki and Head of the Holy Church of Agios Therapontos, who expressed his joy for the meeting and his support for the work of the Committee and Parish Committees for Women's Affairs. Afterwards, Father Iakovos left, in order to continue his pastoral duties.
