Komotini: Festive event for the Blessed Virgin Marytranslated

On the evening of Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the Holy Metropolis of Maroneia and Komotini, co-organized a festive event with the Komotini Concert Hall (Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Cultural Center), for the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. At this event, His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Panteleimon spoke on the topic: "The Theology of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the celebration in the Holy Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni Bathyrryakos and the piety of the Christian crew of our region to the Most Holy Theotokos", stressing that our Virgin Mary stands as the unashamed hope and our strong purpose, leading us with firm faith to the Savior Christ.

The event was framed by a musical program entitled: "Ecclesiastical and Secular Music", which was a special musical encounter that highlighted the ties and richness of two great traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean and delighted all present.

მადლობა ამ ამბისთვის. კარგია, რომ მიტროპოლიტმა პანტელეიმონმა ხაზი გაუსვა ფანερωμένηს მონასტერს და ჩვენს მხარეში ღვთისმშობლისადმი პატივისცემას. მუსიკალური ნაწილი კი, ეკლესიური და კოსმური ერთად, ალბათ საინტერესო იყო.
