The Regional Governor of Central Greece, Fanis Spanos, was yesterday, Monday, August 03, 2026, at the P.E. Evrytania, on the occasion of the completion of the works and the re-opening of the completely reconstructed and upgraded Karpenisi Student Residence, which can accommodate 50 students! Present at the handover ceremony of Hestia were the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Karpenisi, Mr. Georgios, the Vice-Regional Governor P.E. of Evrytania Aristides Tassios, the Deputy Regional Governor for Mountain and Forest Policy Aikaterini Kalantzi, the Mayor of Karpenisi Christos Kakavas, the Rector of the Agricultural University of Athens Spyridon Kintzios, the President of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment Management Andreas Papadopoulos, the President of the Chamber of Evrytania Christos Tsampras and representatives of Students' Association.

The project, with an initial budget of 1,000,000 euros, was financed by the Regional Development Program of Central Greece 2021-2025 and implemented by the Region of Central Greece.
