Прослава на собирањето на моштите на свети Гаврил во Лероспревод

Од вечерта на петокот, 17 јули, започнаа литургиските настани, на собирањето на моштите на Осија Габриелиј, патрон и Ефор на островот Лерос. Побожните настани започнаа со церемонијата пред нејзиниот гроб, во Светиот манастир Панагија Лероски замок, од страна на свештениот митрополит Лероски, Калимнос и Астипалајски г. Потоа, во Светиот митрополитски храм „Благовештение на Богородица Лерос“, со кој чиноначалствуваше преподобниот митрополит Симиски г. Хрисостому, се одржа приемот на Светата Кара, Светите мошти и Светата икона од Осиа, по што беше отслужен и Големиот Свеченик Полијерејски г. Златоуст и сослужи г. Митрополит Лероски г. Пајсиј и Теофил. Епископите на Халикарнас г. Адрианос, г. Стефан од Стратоникеја и г. Антониу од Родостоло.

I remember reading about Saint Gavrilia years ago and how she lived such a simple life on Leros. Nice to see her relics brought out with the procession to the main square in Platanos and the band leading the way. Did they finish the prayer service at the town hall before it got too dark?
