The Baths of Agios Spyridontranslated

With the established Prayer, the small procession of the sacred tent of Agios Spyridon inside his Church and with its repositioning inside the larna (Basmata), the liturgical events commemorating the miracle of Agios Spyridon, by which he saved the island on 11 August 1716 from the siege of the Turks. The Most Reverend Bishop of Kotiaou, Mr. Dionysios, presided over the procession, while the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, joined in the prayer.

The Bishop of Kotiaou, Mr. Dionysios, after thanking the Metropolitan of Corfu for the great blessing to participate in the feast of the Saint, wished all the faithful and the rulers of the island that Saint Spyridon would always protect, be a helper in everyone's struggle, be a helper and cover in the family and make worthy of all that we ask of God, so that we keep power of faith.
