The annual Feast of St. John the Hermit at the Holy Patriarchal and Cross Monastery of Gouvernetou in Chaniatranslated

This year, according to the monastic order, the memory of Saint John the Hermit was celebrated with dignity and splendor in the historic Holy Patriarchal and Cross Monastery of Our Lady of the Angels Gouvernetos, in Akrotiri Chania, where Saint John lived the last years of his earthly life. This year, hundreds of pilgrims came to the Monastery, but also to the Cave where St. John lived, to receive his blessing and to participate in the Solemn Vigil, in the nocturnal Divine Liturgies, which were held in the cavernous Sunday of the Catholic Skete and in the Catholic Chapel of the Monastery, which are dedicated to the memory of, but also at the Triarchate Divine Liturgy in the Catholic Church of the Monastery, on the day of the Feast.
