Bishop Kerasuntos Christoforos at the celebratory Parish of the Holy Apostles Newcastletranslated

On Tuesday, June 30, the feast of the Synod of the Holy Twelve Apostles, in the full Church of the Holy Apostles, in the city of Newcastle, New South Wales, with the blessing of the Most Reverend Archbishop of Australia Mr. Makarios, a High Priestly Divine Liturgy was celebrated, which was presided over by His Grace Bishop Kerasoutos Mr. Christoforos, Proto-Secretary of the 1st Archdiocese of Australia, flanked by Fathers Ioannou, Edouardou, Markos and Nikolaos, and the Deacons Fr. Timotheus, Fr. Panagiotou and the newly ordained Fr. Lambros. The Analogue was decorated with the presence of the High Priest Mr. Michael Giamaios and young people of the local Parish.

The Holy Liturgy was attended by the Honorary Consul of Greece, Mr. Zisis Antoniadis, followed by his wife, Mr. Ioanna Antoniadis, the President of the Parish-Community, Mr. Apostolos Mylonas, and a number of pilgrims from various Parishes of Sydney.

His Eminence Mr. Christophoros conveyed to everyone the warm wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Mr. Makarios.

After the Divine Liturgy, an official celebratory meal was served in the Community Hall, which was attended by a large number of parishioners, creating a truly wonderful...
