Scientific and theological conference “St. John’s Readings” at Samara Theological Seminarytranslated

On October 9, the day of remembrance of the Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, the VIII All-Russian Scientific and Theological Conference “St. John’s Readings” was held at the Samara Theological Seminary. The event was attended by teachers from the seminary and other higher educational institutions, who presented their scientific reports. During the plenary session, the following speakers made presentations: Bishop Anthony of Syzran and Shigon, Candidate of Philosophy, Head of the Department of Biblical Studies of Samara Theological Seminary; Archpriest Maxim Kokarev, candidate of theology, rector of the Samara Theological Seminary; Vladislav Olegovich Sheleketa, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences and Humanities, Samara State Technical University; Ruslan Anatolyevich Tkachenko, expert of the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs. After the plenary session, the work of the conference continued within the framework of four thematic sections: theological, pedagogical, historical and church-practical.
At the end of the event, conference participants were presented with certificates and memorable gifts from the Samara Theological Seminary.
