The abbess of the Odigitrievsky Monastery spoke at a regional round table for monastics of the Uralstranslated

A regional round table “The practical fulfillment of monastic vows in modern conditions” was held in the Sorrow Church of the Alexander Nevsky Novo-Tikhvin Convent. It was attended by bishops, abbots, abbesses and monastics of the Ural Federal District. The work of the conference was headed by Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy. Bishop Pavel of Trinity and South Ural took part in the event. Those gathered discussed the preservation of monastic vows, the spiritual direction of novices, the meaning of the patristic heritage and the performance of monastic duties in everyday life. Presentations were made online by Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, Metropolitan Dionysius of Omsk and Tauride, Bishop Silouan of Pavlovo Posad, Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon, as well as the governors and abbess of the monasteries. The abbess of the Odigitrievsky convent in Chelyabinsk, Abbess Eusevia (Lobanova), dedicated her speech to spiritual reading.
