The rector of the Holy Trinity Church in Miass talked with employees of the Russian Guard about the Baptism of Rus'translated

On the eve of the Day of the Baptism of Rus' in Miass, a meeting was held between the rector of the Holy Trinity Church, Archpriest George Kretsu, and employees of the Russian Guard. The priest spoke about the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir and the historical significance of the Baptism of Rus', which determined the spiritual and cultural path of the country for many centuries. Father George paid special attention to the moral values that underlie the Christian tradition - fidelity to duty, responsibility, love for the Fatherland and neighbors. The meeting participants discussed issues of spiritual life, the significance of the Orthodox faith in the history of Russia and the role of traditional values in serving the Motherland. Similar meetings, dedicated to the Day of the Baptism of Rus', are held in units of the Russian Guard of the Chelyabinsk region and are aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Church and law enforcement agencies, as well as the spiritual and moral education of military personnel and department employees.
