On September 8, 2026, a lecture was given by the rector of the Church of All Saints, who shone in the Russian land, Archpriest Sergius Krasnikov for students, professors and teachers of the South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) named after M. I. Platov.
The meeting on the topic “Family as a pillar of the state: traditions, values, future” was organized as part of the work of the Russian Society “Knowledge”.
During the lecture, issues of the structure of the traditional Russian family, as well as its historical role in the development of the state and society, were discussed.
The priest touched on the “painful points” of modern society - the problems of divorce, abortion, orphanhood with living parents, and also outlined the positive trends that are observed in Russia today in a number of these areas.
At the end of the lecture, polytechnicians of different generations were able to ask the priest questions that interested them.
