The rector of the Church of St. John the Russian attended the ceremony of accepting students from school No. 8 of Bataysk into the ranks of the Youth Army memberstranslated

On October 2, 2026, the rector of the Church of St. John the Russian in the city of Bataysk, Priest Sergius Stupak, took part in the ceremony of accepting students from school No. 8 into the ranks of the All-Russian children's and youth military-patriotic public movement "Yunarmia".

The event took place at a school located in the Aviagorodok microdistrict. After the presentation of the banner and the performance of the National Anthem of the Russian Federation, third-grade students took the Youth Army Oath, promising to love the Motherland, study well and honor the memory of the heroes.

Priest Sergius Stupak wished the schoolchildren success in their studies and good deeds. The priest also encouraged them to visit the church and participate in the Sacraments of the Church.

The event was attended by the school director, cornet E. N. Derevyanko, deputy of the Bataysk City Duma R. A. Paklin, deputy ataman of the city Cossack society “Bataiskoye” D. V. Grinenko, parents of students and guests.
