The rector of the Church of St. George the Victorious in Rostov-on-Don took part in the celebration of the 55th anniversary of school No. 60translated

On October 3, 2026, the rector of the Church of St. George the Victorious - the Main Orthodox military church of the Southern Military District, Archpriest Valery Voloshchuk took part in a solemn event on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the founding of school No. 60.

In his speech, the priest thanked the leadership and teachers for their long-term cooperation, noting regular interaction: clergy visit the school, and students come on excursions to the church.

Archpriest Valery reminded schoolchildren and teachers about the greatness of Russia, its rich history and spiritual heritage, emphasizing that we have something to be proud of. He also noted that the school has a name associated with space and is under the tutelage of Roscosmos. According to the priest, it is the primacy of our Fatherland in space exploration that is one of the foundations on which one can truly cultivate patriotism and deep love for the Motherland.
